오늘의 긍정 이야기 8일차

 

오늘 출근하려고 시동을 거는데

엔진소리가 이렇게 들렸다... "이이잉이잉 드릉드릉 웅!" 이런식으로 말이다.

그때 생각이 들었다...밧데리가 수명을 다해가는군....

그래서 자동차 정비사업소에가서 수명이 다되어 가는 밧데리를 보내주고

새 생명을 교체해주었다.

비록 돈은 16만원 넘게 나갔지만

내 차에 새 밧데리를 넣어주었더니 이젠 시동 소리가 이렇게 들렸다.

시동 버튼을 누르자 마자 "웅!" 이렇게 말이다.

 

This morning, when I tried to start my car, the engine made a sound like…
“Eeeeeeeeng... drrrrrrr... uuuuugh.”

At that moment, I knew—
the battery was on its last breath.

So I took my car to the service center and said goodbye to the old, tired battery.
In its place, I gave my car a brand new life.

Sure, it cost me over 160,000 won…
but now, when I press the start button, the engine proudly says:

“Vroom!”
Just like that. Smooth and confident.
